Texas A&M held off SEC West opponent Auburn last week at home, and gets another division test tomorrow against Arkansas (2-2) in Arlington. Televised on SEC Network at 11:00 AM Central, with the Aggies favored by a touchdown.
Apparently Conner Weigman is done for the season after the ankle injury sustained against Auburn. That may mean trouble with Max Johnson filling in as his backup. College Football News thinks A&M can improve to 4-1 with a 30-26 win over the hogs.
Updated 12:35 PM Saturday: The Aggies haven't been awesome but they're playing well enough to be ahead of Arkansas 17-6 at halftime.
Final update 3:05 PM Saturday: The second half, like the first, was a mixture of Aggie sloppiness (penalties and turnovers) with a few big plays on offense, defense and special teams. It added up to a 34-22 win for Texas A&M, and beating the damned hogs is always good.
