Football 2019: Week Eleven

Another open date for Texas A&M before they close the regular season with South Carolina, Georgia and LSU. If the Aggies can finish 9-3, this will go in the books as one of their best seasons in years, and probably their 2nd-best since joining the SEC.  Realistically, 7-5 is a more likely possibility, with 6-6 not out of the question.

There aren't many exciting SEC games on TV tomorrow, with the best one being the CBS showcase game at 2:30, featuring unbeaten LSU (8-0) at unbeaten Alabama (8-0). In the college playoff rankings, Ohio State is sitting in the top spot, with LSU at second and the Tide at third. Since I hate LSU and Alabama more or less equally, I don't particularly care who wins. Alabama is favored by about 5 points, and College Football News is predicting LSU will lose 30-24.

So-called precedent (sic) Donny Butt Pimples was booed at the last two sporting events he attended, and has chosen to soothe his bruised ego by attending this game. To be honest, if the fat motherfucker can't receive a 15-minute standing ovation at a football game between LSU and Alabama, we can stick a fork in him. He's done.

Updated 7:09 PM Saturday: There was more scoring than expected in the LSU game. The Tide trailed big at halftime (33-13), but came back to make it close at the end. LSU won 46-41, and the informed opinion is that Donny Butt Pimples jinxed the home team by making the game about him and his need for ego gratification. More proof that he can turn stuff to shit by just being in the same location.
