USA Today Rankings

USA Today has just published its updated rankings of 124 FBS college football teams. 

I'm most interested in the rankings of teams on TAMU's schedule -- those they've already played, those games still remaining. The Aggies are ranked 29th of 124 teams. The team rankings are as follows:

• Number 1 Alabama (10 November)
• Number 5 Florida (defeated Aggies 20-17)
• Number 11 Louisiana State (20 October)
• Number 12 Mississippi State (3 November)
• Number 17 Louisiana Tech (13 October)
• Number 61 Missouri (24 November)
• Number 77 Arkansas (Aggies defeated 58-10)
• Number 83 Mississippi (Aggies defeated 30-27)
• Number 85 Auburn (27 October)
• Number 91 Southern Methodist (Aggies defeated 48-3) 

These rankings will be updated weekly. Based on the list, Louisiana Tech at 17 should be a slight favorite over the Aggies at 29. The actual betting line is Aggies minus 8 points.
