When information about the shooting incident in Pennsylvania yesterday first began rolling out on the internet (especially the video showing what had happened), my original reaction was "Something's rotten here - this looks like an event that was deliberately staged." If one round had taken Dump's head off or missed him completely, that would be one thing, but having one of several bullets fired clip a little bit of his ear? Sorry, but I can't buy that. I lost a bigger chunk of my left ear in surgery removing a basal cell carcinoma.
This looks like a matter of perfect timing. Too damned perfect. Dump started catching hell from the public and media as Project 2025 got traction as an election issue, so a huge distraction has been needed to make him the lovable victim once again. This is an asshole who owes his presidency to imagery he manipulated during years as a celebrity starring in a popular TV reality show, so he instinctively relies on TV reality show methods as a fallback position.
The original two minutes of the pep rally incident video had the look of a low-budget show, with gunfire (?) sounding like someone popping firecrackers on July 4th.
After reading some reports appearing online today, it's easy to spot numerous ways the incident yesterday can (and will) be exploited to benefit Dump and his campaign both financially and politically:
- Financially? Dump knows ways to make money off anything that happens to him.
- Holy Miracle? He's already boasting that God chose to have him survive an attempted assassination, confirming ignorant beliefs of MAGA Morons.
- Weaken Joe Biden? Have worthless assholes claim Joe ordered a hit on Dump, and other TRashdUMP losers demand that Joe be criminally charged.
- Rationalize all retaliatory violence against his political opponents? Violence by liberals is bad, so violent punishment of them not a problem.
- Take Project 2025 and threat of fascism out of the media spotlight.
- Make Dump a martyr to firm up turnout of base in November.
