For the past few seasons, my favorite Texas A&M football weekends have been the ones like tomorrow: open dates with no game scheduled. If there's no game on the TV schedule, I won't be able to waste three hours of precious life watching the Aggie defense being shredded by an opponent's offense, or the Aggie offense being smothered by an opponent's defense. In most of their SEC games, both of those results (shredding and smothering) are typical, along with sloppiness in the form of penalties and turnovers. If they don't play, the boys won't get their butts kicked.
So enjoy your day off, people. South Carolina on 28 October is one of the few remaining games you might have a chance to win.
