Someone should ask him to explain how the deep South of the Confederacy, solidly Democratic for roughly 100 years after the Civil War, was transformed so rapidly to solidly Republican beginning around the time LBJ got his civil rights legislation through Congress. Could it be that all those racist rednecks switched parties?
