Jimmy Carter had to clean up the mess left by Nixon and Gerald Ford. Bill Clinton had to clean up the mess left by Reagan and Bush 41. Barack Obama had to clean up the mess made by Bush 43. None of them faced a challenge like the enormous mess Joe Biden will deal with, cleaning up after four years of Trumpty Dumpty.
Dr. Deborah Birx is apparently anxious to be seen as a team player in the Trumpty Dumpty admenstruation (sic). That makes her basically worthless as a source of information or anything else.
Daily Kos reports that Trumpty Dumpty has decided to resume his COVID-19 press briefings, presumably because he thinks the secret to his success in November is performing for TV cameras every single day, even though he has absolutely nothing of value to offer the audience --- other than those brain-dead yahoos who still rate him as their favorite program on the tube. Actually, the TV networks should ignore these dog-and-pony shows, since they're a substitute for campaign pep rallies, rather than legitimate public information opportunities.
