Texas A&M Football, 2026 Season, Third Game

The Texas A&M football team has looked fairly impressive in the first two games, so I hope they can continue to win comfortably today against the Kentucky Wildcats (1-1) at Kyle Field (on ESPN at 2:30 PM). The Aggies are 16 1/2 point favorites, and College Football News is predicting A&M will win 34-17. I would personally enjoy watching another win like the one against Arizona State last week.

Added 4:10 PM: The game's been a struggle for both teams, and the score is tied at 7-7 at the halftime.

Added 5:06 PM:  At the end of the third quarter, Kentucky is ahead 28-7, and the Aggies are not accomplishing anything good on offense, defense, or special teams. This is the biggest stinking mess I've seen since the last two games of last season.

Final update 6:05 PM: It's hard to accept, but today, Kentucky looked more like the good team that was ready to play well than the Aggies did. It's frustrating to watch Marcel Reed because he's too inconsistent. Final score: Kentucky 31 Texas A&M 21. There probably won't be many A&M games remaining on the schedule that will be worth the waste of time it takes to watch.
