The Golden Love God has been fiddle-farting around while the public waits for him to reveal a coherent plan for controlling COVID-19 (to the extent that control is possible). Usually the response to someone hoping the GLG will do the right thing is "Don't hold your breath," but "Hold your breath" is the item at the very top of the GLG plan.
In the meantime, Joe Biden isn't even the president (yet?), and he's already laid out a sensible, understandable plan that, unlike the stuff the GLG is burping up, has been well-received. The downside is that none of his recommendations will be implemented in 2020 since it would be impossible for the GLG to claim credit if they were successful.
