In the new CNN-ORC poll, the so-called president (SCP) gets an approval rating of 44 percent, lowest of every first-term (elected) president since Eisenhower in 1952, and much lower than Obama. The only reason it's as high as 44 percent is that 90 percent of Republicans approve.
Nine out of ten Republicans approve, and he's still well under 50 percent overall. The should be an incentive for Democrats to keep slugging away at the SCP. That 90 percent Republican approval should crumble as soon as the yahoos realize that repealing Obamacare actually means they won't have health insurance.
Meanwhile, a sorry rat's ass like Rafael (Ted) Cruz refuses to open his office to constituents who want to discuss health care, and other Republican members of Congress are running, hiding, and ducking for cover to avoid facing the people they're supposed to represent. Any time Republicans reveal how gutless and cowardly they are, it's a good thing.
Added 11:28 PM Saturday 4 Feb: Public Policy Polling reports that 40 percent of us are already willing to see the SCP impeached. He was inaugurated two weeks ago.
