Scandals

I have one simple rule of thumb when evaluating the severity of a political scandal, and here it is: Would right-wing lunatic assholes be whining and bitching as loudly if all the roles were reversed (e.g., Republican administration, IRS scrutinizing the tax-exempt status of liberal PACs, etc.)? If the answer to that question is no, I can safely turn my attention to other matters of greater interest.
