More evangelunacy

I've noticed a lot of complaining lately by evangelical Christians about the way they're persecuted and how they're being forced into the shadows. But a few of them have escaped the ghetto and been elected to the Texas Board of Education. This bunch of lunatics has decided that Thomas Jefferson, who was one of the founders of the country and has been immortalized on Mount Rushmore, isn't a fit subject for inclusion in the Texas public school social studies curriculum. When I read about crap like this, the only conclusion I can reach is that the evangelunicals haven't been driven far enough from the public square.
