A matter of priorities

Orrin Hatch and Lindsey Graham are only two of the Republicans in the Senate who are way past their expiration dates and starting to stink up the whole kitchen. As long as GOP politicians believe it's better to defend Individual 1 than defend the United States, there's not much point in trying to get rid of Tiny through the impeachment process.

My personal opinion is that Democrats should take the position that impeachment is an option that will be considered when all of the investigations that are now underway have concluded. There's no overwhelming public support for impeachment today, since so many people are only beginning to pay the slightest bit of attention to the limited information Mueller makes available.

Instead of prioritizing impeachment, I hope Democrats in the House use their newly secured authority to ensure Tiny's legislative agenda (such as it is) is DOA in Congress, and every House committee with oversight responsibility makes life miserable for all those assholes in the so-called "administration."

I have a feeling the comfortable media environment Tiny has enjoyed since 2016 will end as more information about his crimes is made available to the press. That might cause his support among GOP voters to shrink a few points, and build momentum for the opposition.
